Wilocity, a fabless semiconductor company found by ex-Intel employees in 2007, was purchased by Qualcomm in July 2014, and absorbed into Qualcomm Atheros. Qualcomm Atheros chipsets for the IEEE 802.11 standard of wireless networking are used by over 30 different wireless device manufacturers. When the acquisition was completed on May 24, 2011, Atheros became a subsidiary of Qualcomm operating under the name Qualcomm Atheros. On January 5, 2011, it was announced that Qualcomm had agreed to a takeover of the company for a valuation of US$3.7 billion. Founded under the name Atheros in 1998 by experts in signal processing from Stanford University, the University of California, Berkeley and the private industry, the company went public in 2004.

Since there are multiple reports of this card working properly, I must be missing something.Qualcomm Atheros is a developer of semiconductors for network communications, particularly wireless chipsets.

Each firmware/board file combination fails in a slightly different way, but none works. I have tried all possible variations of updating the firmware and trying different versions. I tried booting PopOS 20.10 from a USB drive the same problem occurs. I am an experienced Arch user, and I have tried every solution I could think of and everything I found on the internet. ath10k_pci 0000:02:00.0: device has crashed during init ath10k_pci 0000:02:00.0: kconfig debug 1 debugfs 1 tracing 1 dfs 0 testmode 0 ath10k_pci 0000:02:00.0: pci irq msi oper_irq_mode 2 irq_mode 0 reset_mode 0
